DANCE IN EDUCATION PROGRAM(D.I.E)
SSDA introduces Dance In Education (D.I.E) program for Educational institutions in Mumbai.
This programme is designed to initiate dance in the curriculum of the school. It helps the students’ overall personality development while learning different types of technically inclined dance styles.
Along with learning dance routines students will gain theoretical knowledge and learn the vocabulary of different dance forms.
DIE contributes in -

Physical development:

• body awareness
• mind and body co ordination

Creative development:

• understanding of musicality and rhythm
• exposure to applied and performing arts

Mental growth:

• boost in confidence level
• critical thinking and problem solving

We do all of this with two important elements, which is, fun and discipline. They might be antonyms at some level but when put together they create miraculous work of art. Thus DIE will improve students’ over all productivity and instill principles of team work, communication and performance skills.

We at SSDA believe one must always dance as though they were a kid at heart and a professional in style, master in technique and an explorer of their inner self and creative mind.
